Who can tell me the different characteristics and different ways that this may or may not suit a person? Dispersion? Swing types they benefit? Etc.
There are a number of threads about the rogue and a few on the others but nothing that brings them all in together.
Obviously I'm a fairly high spin player with these shafts and may be having to narrow these down in a SLDR.

The Blue and Black Rogue are very similar with the Rogue being a smig stiffer in the butt which translates to overall.
Silver Rogue and Green are also similar, with similarly the Rogue being a little stiffer overall in the butt.
No clue if it's worth the extra money for the Rogue's but I can say that I love mine. You can get new pulls on ebay for $100 shipped and then you can sell the tip. Great deal in my opinion on an excellent feeling shaft.Ping G400 Max driver w/Aldila Rogue 125 Silver 60S

Dispersion isn't all in the player. The feel of the shaft, the way it loads and the release point related to the kick of the shaft, and the affect on spin that a shaft has will all impact dispersion, no? If not, why to some players get better dispersion results with different shafts? Certain shafts minimize certain flaws in impact conditions.
For me, the Green didn't perform very well, but for whatever reason the 110 silver rogue was great. The green was just all over the place but the rogue was much tighter dispersion. Same fitting session, similar impact quality but who knows how much the swing contributed. All I know is that the rogue is better for me, which is very odd because the other shafts that were good were the Tour Blue Atx or VTS Red spx.
What makes sense on paper always doesn't pan out in a fitting. - To measure is to know...MembersPosts: 18,805✭✭✭✭✭✭✭My point is that dispersion isn't a shaft characteristic. For some people they need just the right amount and type of feedback otherwise they put a bad swing on the ball. I don't blame the shaft though just because it doesn't work for someone.Ping G400 Max driver w/Aldila Rogue 125 Silver 60S

Got it. Makes sense now.
I guess the main point is that just because dispersion is great for one person with one shaft, doesn't mean it will be for others (but may for others with similar swing characteristics). - #6I got it. I think I meant torque. I just know that I need something that will improve my dispersion from the green. I love the ballflight it gives me but it's a little all over the place.
- #7Torque has even less of a direct impact on the results - it's just another aspect that contributes to the feel. If the feel gives you better results, that's an important part of fitting so the exact reasons are not always that important. It's just that what works for you may not have the same results for someone else.
- #8im having this exact same issue and need help in comparing the rogue silver 60 stiff and the tour green stiff. I have both shafts. i went ahead and bought an additional rogue silver in regular flex because its shaft characteristics are similar with the tour green as said by Steve from Aldila. My dispersion is much better using the tour green(stiff) compared to the rogue silver60(stiff) i just want to play the new rogue shaft. /to_become_senile.gif' alt=':to_become_senile:' /> After contacting aldila, they said i could buy a rogue 60(reg) and tip the shaft 3/4' and i would get as close as possible to the tour green in stiff. Im losing 10-15 yards with the rogue silver 60 in stiff compared to the tour green. any ideas?

Hey folks,
Once again looking to the collective knowledge of the forum to help me with some equipment choices!
I demo'd some Titleist 917 drivers today and found very similar numbers with the Rogue MAX 65s and Silver 110 MSI 60.
It was quite a short session so i dint get the chance to hit as many balls as i would like or throw the Rogue Black into the mix so I wondered if anyone else had hot these shafts or can comment on their potential similarities or differences?

- #2I had some great results with the 917 D3 and Rogue M-AX shaft. It was one of if not THE most consistent setup I've ever hit. So much so that I may ditch the 2017 M1 and go back to it.
I would describe the M-AX as a more smooth version of the Silver. I've played the black in fairways and hybrids and they are fantastic shafts in these clubs but may spin a little high for driver if you're after low spin.M4 | Rogue Fairway | 915H 2 & 3 | Nike VR Pro Combo | Vokey SM6 52, 58 | Scotty SS Newport 2 350 - #30·Share on FacebookShare on Twitter
- #4I was fit for the Rogue M•AX 65S with the 917D3 and I agree, it's an amazing set-up. This is what the Titleist fitter informed me about the shaft offering - it's a smother version of the Rogue Silver 110 MSI. It will have similar stability and spin, but feel smoother and launch slightly higher. However, it's still a lower spinning shaft. Aldila also has a mid launch/mid spin version of the M•AX shaft (I believe Callaway has it has one of its shafts for the Epics), but it's not in the lineup for the 917 drivers. It's definitely a more stable shaft than the Rogue Black from my experience but doesn't feel as stout as the Rogue Silver. For me, it was the perfect middle point between the Black and Silver. Feel of the Black with the stability of the Silver.
- #5I was under the impression that it was the ball flight and spin of the Rogue Silver combined with the feel (torque) of the Black to appeal to a wider range of players. Since many, myself included, like the feel of the Black much better, as the Silver can feel boardy at times, but need the spin reduction of the Silver.Cobra F9 7.5 - Accra TZ5 55
